About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design original prints, yarn dyes, embroideries, and embellishments for multiple apparel brands
Research and apply current and upcoming trends in women's apparel to your designs
Develop CAD artwork and color stories, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand strategy
Maintain and organize CAD files, color references, and development packages in PLM systems
Provide technical color expertise, using tools like Color Spectrophotometer to ensure consistency and quality
Initiate lab dip requests and manage color submissions, collaborating with production partners
Identify and resolve material and color challenges, ensuring best practices in color management
Collaborate with design and merchant teams, sharing creative ideas and feedback in development meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in apparel print and textile design, with a strong portfolio showcasing original work
Proficiency in NedGraphics Design or similar textile design software, plus Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong artistic, conceptual, and color sense, with the ability to differentiate the color spectrum
Experience with PLM systems and technical color management is a plus
