Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure, secure, administer, and monitor SQL Server infrastructure
Provide production support and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Troubleshoot issues and guide Root Cause Analysis
Develop backup, recovery, and database management strategies
Support Agile/Scrum processes
Mentor team members and foster collaboration
Research and recommend SQL Server/Azure technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server administration
T-SQL development experience
Backup/recovery strategies experience
Expertise in high availability and performance tuning
Automation using PowerShell/Azure CLI
Familiarity with PostGreSQL, CosmosDB, or Couchbase
Background in configuration management and database security
Agile/Scrum team experience
Understanding of Agentic AI fundamentals
