About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support department, as led by Sr. Managers Technical Design
  • Provide technical support in collaboration with partners
  • Establish pattern blocks to maintain fit consistency for product
  • Ensure standard grade rules are applied to each garment
  • Complete technical specification packets including measurements specifications and construction details
  • Communicate with vendors/factories all information necessary to create the garments
  • Identify potential production, quality and costing issues
  • Evaluate garment to determine compliance of spec, construction, fit intent, and aesthetic
  • Participate in fit sessions on live models and mannequin
  • Ensure all deadlines are met; support the T&A calendar objectives
  • Collaborate and develop close working relationships with design, sourcing, merchandising, QA, sourcing offices and vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in fashion design or related program
  • Minimum 2-3 years industry experience within Technical Design or Patternmaking
