About the role
- Support department, as led by Sr. Managers Technical Design
- Provide technical support in collaboration with partners
- Establish pattern blocks to maintain fit consistency for product
- Ensure standard grade rules are applied to each garment
- Complete technical specification packets including measurements specifications and construction details
- Communicate with vendors/factories all information necessary to create the garments
- Identify potential production, quality and costing issues
- Evaluate garment to determine compliance of spec, construction, fit intent, and aesthetic
- Participate in fit sessions on live models and mannequin
- Ensure all deadlines are met; support the T&A calendar objectives
- Collaborate and develop close working relationships with design, sourcing, merchandising, QA, sourcing offices and vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in fashion design or related program
- Minimum 2-3 years industry experience within Technical Design or Patternmaking
