About the role
- Manage the tactical functionality of your department and be responsible for fulfillment center goals for your team.
- Coach and develop your team to encourage an engaged and safe team.
- Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Network and consult with corporate/site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels.
- Build a positive, motivating, engaged culture by modeling QVC Group Values and operating principles.
- Review existing operations to determine improvements for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
- Oversee daily operations for assigned area, partnering with other departments.
- Identify, report, and communicate trends and irregularities to the Department Manager and develop corrective plans.
- Report to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or retail environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work onsite (#LI-Onsite)
- Work on nights, 4- 10 hour shifts.
- Experience encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees.
