About the role
- Prepare inventory obsolescence analysis, reporting and required financial transactions
- Manage monthly close process for inventory related accounts
- Calculate and record purchase rebates
- Support quarterly audit reviews and related requests
- Perform monthly and quarterly SOX controls
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting as requested by Finance leadership and cross-functional teams
- Provide guidance to business partners on inventory accounting matters
- Assist in financial statement review and analysis
- Prepare and manage assigned account reconciliations
- Contribute to special projects and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA License Preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including SOX compliance
- SAP Materials Management experience
- Proficient in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
