About the role
- support all aspects of the product design process, including market research, sketching, material and colour selection
- create presentation boards and materials for product meetings and line reviews
- research seasonal trends and shopping the market for new ideas
- develop seasonal colour palettes and build fabric libraries with sourcing teams
- create flat sketches and design development packages using PLM system
- review and approve proto samples, ensuring materials meet design needs
- collaborate with technical designers and overseas offices to ensure accuracy and delivery
- maintain development documentation and support the team with special projects
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Fine Arts (or equivalent experience)
- experience with design and conceptual skills, with a sense of colour and print
- experience working with systems such as Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Photoshop, and Illustrator
- knowledge of a PLM system is an advantage
- excellent organisational and presentation skills
- ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly and adapt to new ideas
- enthusiasm, responsibility, and a problem-solving mindset
