About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design and delivery of Quilter’s talent management and development strategy across our organisation:
- Identify, analyse and prioritise organisational and functional capability gaps aligned to business strategy and future workforce requirements.
- Maintain a clear view of priority capability needs and development activity across the organisation.
- Gather and analyse workforce, learning and talent data to provide evidence-based capability insights.
- Support the development of capability frameworks, skills assessments and workforce capability reporting.
- Provide recommendations to HR and business stakeholders on emerging capability risks and opportunities.
- Lead the coordination of Quilter's annual talent and succession review process, ensuring consistency, quality and timely completion across the organisation.
- Maintain oversight of talent and succession information and reporting, ensuring accurate data supports workforce planning and decision-making.
- Identify succession risks, critical role dependencies and future leadership capability requirements.
- Produce talent and succession insights on bench strength, succession readiness, talent pipelines and organisational risk.
- Use talent and succession insights to inform capability-building and development priorities.
- Support continuous improvement of talent and succession processes, tools and reporting.
- Translate workforce capability priorities into practical development pathways, learning journeys and upskilling opportunities.
- Support the design and delivery of targeted capability development initiatives aligned to identified skills gaps.
- Partner with Learning and HR colleagues to ensure solutions address organisational capability needs.
- Monitor participation, completion and impact measures to assess the effectiveness of development interventions.
- Ensure development activity remains aligned to evolving business priorities.
- Lead day-to-day management, governance and optimisation of Quilter's Skills & Growth Levy.
- Identify opportunities to use levy funding to address priority organisational capability gaps.
- Manage relationships with training providers and external partners.
- Monitor levy utilisation, programme effectiveness and return on investment.
- Ensure compliance, governance and reporting requirements are met.
- Provide regular reporting on levy utilisation, outcomes and future opportunities.
- Build effective relationships across HR, Learning, and business teams.
- Act as a key link between workforce capability insight, talent management, development solutions and programme delivery.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations to support workforce and talent decisions.
- Develop and maintain reporting across workforce capability, skills gaps, talent, succession and development activity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A passion for developing talent , with experience delivering learning, skills and development initiatives that help people and businesses thrive.
- Knowledge of apprenticeships and apprenticeship levy utilisation , including working with training providers to deliver impactful programmes.
- A data-driven mindset , using insights and metrics to measure success, track progress and identify opportunities.
- An interest in future skills , with experience or exposure to AI and digital upskilling programmes being a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills , enabling you to build trusted relationships across HR and the wider business.
- Commercial awareness and a results-focused approach , turning insight into meaningful action that drives capability and performance.
