About the role
- QuestBridge connects high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with a thriving community and transformative educational, career, and life opportunities that help propel them to lives of fulfillment, meaning, and purpose.
- Lead the College Partner Services team, working closely with the Managing Director to set ambitious goals and guide the team in meeting these goals.
- Collaborate with key staff across the organization to strengthen QuestBridge's outcomes and drive team's efforts to innovate on current programs and processes to drive efficiency and ensure scalability.
- Develop deep understanding of college partners in order to inform the development and improvement of programs and operations that can propel QuestBridge students into their futures.
- Oversee communications to partners, ensuring messaging is presented in a clear and concise way.
- Drive efforts to analyze data trends to better understand our applicant pool, outcomes, and profiles that interest our college partners.
- Manage college partner participation in QuestBridge outreach and education efforts, such as our in-person and virtual conferences.
- Contribute to creation, planning, and execution of new initiatives.
- Manage College Partner Services team members.
- Perform other administrative and miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of full-time professional experience.
- Passion for and knowledge of issues in higher education, particularly highly selective college admissions and financial aid processes.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing complex programs while working with key managers and outside constituents.
- Process oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to understand and communicate complex processes in a straightforward way.
- Ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.
- Strong comfort with technology and data, with the ability to evaluate and improve current operations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with superior writing and editing ability.
- Experience supervising and managing others.
- Heightened sensitivity to students from low-income backgrounds and a strong track record of handling sensitive personal information and situations.
