About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work independently remotely and travel on-site to suppliers to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify non-compliance areas and document RCCA items
  • Coordinate with suppliers to monitor and support RCCA improvement plans to the RAIL agenda
  • Develop supplier recovery plans to increase Supplier Quality score and reduce Supplier Quality Corrective actions
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures compliant with industry standards and customer requirements
  • Conduct inspections and tests on products, components, and materials to identify defects or specification deviations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze data and generate reports tracking quality performance and improvement areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in assessments and audits in aerospace, automotive, and/or related industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
  • MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • US Citizenship required
  • Willingness to travel to the customer site as needed
  • 90% travel required
