About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work independently remotely and travel on-site to suppliers to ensure quality standards are being met
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify non-compliance areas and document RCCA items
Coordinate with suppliers to monitor and support RCCA improvement plans to the RAIL agenda
Develop supplier recovery plans to increase Supplier Quality score and reduce Supplier Quality Corrective actions
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures compliant with industry standards and customer requirements
Conduct inspections and tests on products, components, and materials to identify defects or specification deviations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Analyze data and generate reports tracking quality performance and improvement areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in assessments and audits in aerospace, automotive, and/or related industries
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
MS Office skills
Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
US Citizenship required
Willingness to travel to the customer site as needed
90% travel required
