About the role
- Technical Substantiation: Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and hand calculations where relevant, to provide technical substantiation for design decisions.
- Technical Contribution: Actively participate in technical and program reviews, contributing valuable insights, expertise, and communication with the customer.
- CAE Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools including: ANSYS Classic, ANSYS Workbench, Siemens Simcenter, Nastran/Patran, and ABAQUS for analysis tasks. Some Siemens NX CAD experience for model modifications would be advantageous.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate directly with internal and external engineering teams, fostering effective communication and synergy.
- Engineering Problem Solving: Formulate and apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to address complex engineering challenges.
- Document and Reporting: Thoroughly document all work, including analysis plans, in compliance with customer requirements and prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on your findings.

Requirements
- Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering field from an accredited university.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 3- 4 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis
- Aerospace Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in aerospace structures ans systems. Must have a strong understanding of low cycle fatigue (LCF) and fatigue and fracture mechanics theory and applications
- Communication Skills: Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and managers at all organizational levels.
