About the role

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, supporting them through onboarding, integration, and successful usage of our platform.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom API integrations between our platform and customer systems, external APIs, or third-party services.
  • Translate non-technical customer requirements into structured technical tasks, collaborating closely with internal engineering teams to ensure feasibility and clarity.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and lightweight services that help automate deployment, data transformation, or reporting needs for enterprise clients.
  • Act as a liaison between customer stakeholders and internal teams—surfacing product feedback, clarifying use cases, and helping prioritize roadmap features.
  • Write and maintain clear internal and external technical documentation, including integration guides, API walkthroughs, and support FAQs.
  • Support troubleshooting and debugging across API integrations and customer implementations, escalating as necessary to backend, frontend, or DevOps teams.
  • Contribute to a growing library of reusable solution templates and sample code for common use cases.
  • Deliver training sessions, demos, or workshops for customers and partners to help them understand and extend the capabilities of our system.
  • Foster relationships with key technical stakeholders across our partner and client ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical support, solutions engineering, or developer relations role.
  • Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs, with experience in Node.js or Python preferred.
  • Strong understanding of API authentication, error handling, and integration best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and clarify requirements from non-technical users and convert them into actionable engineering plans.
  • Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing and documentation platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and basic understanding of deployment and infrastructure concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms.
  • Self-starter with a customer-first mindset and a knack for balancing detail-oriented work with big-picture thinking.
  • Bonus: experience in IoT, remote sensing, or maritime technologies.
