FPGA Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate complex probabilistic algorithms into FPGA RTL
- Design and implement custom digital logic using VHDL
- Architect data acquisition pipelines interfacing with the analogue front end
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers to develop high-level system architecture
- Develop rigorous testbenches and simulations
- Analyse and optimise performance, timing closure, power consumption, and resource utilisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA digital design
- Strong proficiency in HDL coding
- Practical understanding of processor-side development for FPGA SoC platforms
- Proven ability to translate complex mathematical models into hardware accelerators
- Solid understanding of advanced digital design concepts
- Deep experience with design and verification tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis, and TCL scripting
- Familiarity with hardware debugging tools
