About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test frameworks
- Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and other stakeholders
- Mentor and coach junior members of the test automation team
- Work with API testing tools such as Jmeter, Postman etc
- Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for test automation
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications
- Involvement in Manual Testing activities
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback
- Analyze test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain test documentation
Requirements
- 3 to 6 Years experience
- Good knowledge of new open-source lightweight UI automation tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and SQL concepts
- Good knowledge of software development life cycle
- Good exposure to agile methodology
- Expertise with software testing life cycle and defect life cycle processes
- Great communication (verbal/written) skills
- Good knowledge of Java or any other equivalent programming language
- Exposure to API testing and its automation
- Ability to introduce and improve Quality practices that ensure zero defects
- Basic knowledge of ML concepts
- Sound knowledge of version management
- Basic knowledge of project management via JIRA
