About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Onboard devices, services, and applications into LogicMonitor and Dynatrace;
- Configure and manage monitoring components (collectors, groups, templates);
- Tune alert thresholds and dependencies to reduce noise and false positives;
- Maintain escalation chains, routing rules, and on-call schedules;
- Build and maintain dashboards for services, capacity, and SLA reporting;
- Validate data collection after system or topology changes and proactively resolve gaps;
- Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM systems for automated incident management;
- Develop scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for custom checks, enrichment, and auto-remediation;
- Manage collector upgrades and plugin health;
- Produce regular reports (availability, MTTR, noisy devices);
- Ensure monitoring coverage for new services, projects, and locations;
- Map service dependencies to improve alerting accuracy and incident triage;
- Review and optimize monitoring rules and remove obsolete checks;
- Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and response playbooks;
- Support disaster recovery (DR) validation with synthetic monitoring;
- Track license usage and optimize platform footprint.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in enterprise-scale monitoring environments;
- Knowledge of automation, AIOps, or GenAI solutions;
- Experience with capacity planning and SLA reporting;
- Familiarity with dependency mapping and service modeling;
- Understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks.
