About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d) with agentic coding skills, you introduce modern AI-powered development tools into client projects
- Develop high-quality software
- Coach your team and actively shape how QualityMinds drives AI transformation in software development
- Ensure that architectural decisions, code, and AI workflows align
- Analyze and assess existing systems and architectures
- Develop high-performance software according to customer-specific requirements
- Make architectural decisions collaboratively with the project team
- Actively coach your colleagues in using agentic-coding tools and modern development practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or vocational training in computer science or a related field
- Several years of practical experience in software development
- Solid knowledge of current technologies and frameworks (e.g., Java EE, Spring, Angular, REST)
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development environments, in particular GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code
- Understanding and use of agentic-coding patterns
- Very good German and English language skills
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of direct collaboration
