About the role
- Maintain awareness of a project’s past, current, and future financial status
- Support project manager(s) by maintaining financial control of the project and control accounts
- Maintain and deliver all internal and external reporting requirements (CDRLs) and cost controls
- Develop, monitor, track and report accuracy of programs including deliverables, payment schedules, period of performance, and costs
- Maintain timekeeping and hour budget tools
- Set-up and update contracts in Deltek Costpoint
- Update contract Work Force with changes
- Assist in preparation of budgets on contracts and task orders
- Notify management of potential at-risk scenarios
- Provide management with reports on status of their projects
- Work with Contracts Administrator and Prime/Customer points of contact regarding financial information and funding
- Perform billing functions of all types for Government Contracts
- Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and corporate financial policies and procedures
- Hold confidential information in strict confidence and exercise care to prevent disclosure
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of US Government contracts and a variety of contract types (CPFF, T&M, Fixed price, etc.)
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Deltek Costpoint
- Experience in government reporting requirements
- Able to use all current Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and detecting errors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Desired: Bachelors degree
