About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the roadmap for data and analytics products, balancing customer commitments, internal builder needs, and platform reuse
  • Define serving contracts, gold-layer marts, and semantic views for AI assistants, chat, workflows, and dashboards
  • Own customer-facing dashboards, usage and adoption analytics, cost and token observability, and the KPI catalog
  • Turn per-customer data builds into reusable data products with clear interfaces
  • Define generalization requirements for scored and modeled outputs
  • Write complete acceptance criteria before work enters a sprint
  • Run the vetting process for customer-facing KPIs and own the metrics catalog
  • Own cost observability, attributing model calls and pricing workflows
  • Define reusable evaluation gates for AI-powered products, including validation, scale generalization, and post-go-live monitoring
  • Own the governance product surface, including audit trails, monitoring, and compliance evidence
  • Establish ownership contracts for ETL, business logic, and integration surfaces
  • Define success metrics for reuse and data product health
  • Navigate HIPAA, data privacy, and clinical safety requirements
  • Sit on the Platform pod, report to the SVP of Product, and partner with data platform, analytics, engineering, and product leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • 3+ years owning data, analytics, or platform products
  • Demonstrated ability to turn customer- or team-specific data capabilities into shared products
  • Technical fluency with pipelines, medallion architectures, semantic layers, and APIs
  • Ability to read schemas and write SQL
  • Experience defining and governing metrics, KPI catalogs, semantic layers, or analytics products at scale
  • Experience with AI/ML evaluation or model quality, including evaluation frameworks, offline/online testing, or production model monitoring
  • Experience with enterprise data integration
  • Experience shipping products in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
  • Able to work onsite in Palo Alto 3 days/week
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Understanding of healthcare operations, health system IT environments, clinical data models, or AI governance frameworks is a bonus
  • Experience with EHR data, including Epic Clarity/Caboodle, HL7, or FHIR, is a strong plus
