About the role
- Financial Modeling & Underwriting
- Underwrite senior living investments, including occupancy ramp, rate/mix by care level, labor models, and operating expenses.
- Investor Support & Underwriting Collaboration
- Translate operating assumptions and performance into investor-ready analyses and presentations.
- Transactions & Strategic Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis within senior housing markets.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Build and maintain forward-looking financial projections incorporating occupancy, rate growth, and labor cost assumptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in real estate finance, investment banking, private equity, REITs, or senior living
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling experience
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals (NOI, cap rates, valuation)
