About the role
- Responsible for semiconductor manufacturing processes within a silicon foundry NTI/NPI to HVM environment
- Oversees process development, qualification, continuous improvement for silicon manufacturing technologies
- Work closely with product engineering team to drive foundry on wafer yield improvement initiatives using SPC and data-driven methodologies
- Support Corp team (SFE, DE, BU PM) on technology transfer and/or product qualification from NTI/NPI to HVM
- Collaborate with SFE and Quality to ensure process robustness, manufacturability and Quality Compliance
- Drive Fab Manufacturing Operations to resolve production issues, improve OEE on bottleneck process equipment & CT to meet Qorvo production plan and NPI priorities
- Joint-effort with SQE as first responders on problem solving on quality issues, engage Red Team as needed for complex
- Support Sourcing on cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
Requirements
- Masters/Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- At least 7 years’ prior experience for the semiconductor industry
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skill
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Data-driven mindset with focus on quality, yield and delivery
- Experience with SPC, DOE, FMEA, Root-Cause Analysis methodologies
