About the role

  • Support RF measurement activities for high‑power and small‑signal devices.
  • Set up and operate RF test equipment, collecting and analyzing measurement data.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure products meet performance and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in developing and executing test plans for RF device characterization, including small-signal S‑parameters and basic high-power measurements.
  • Perform calibration, setup, and operation of RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware or software issues in RF test setups under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Support automation of test execution and data analysis using Excel, Python, or similar tools.
  • Assist with prototype assembly, including soldering, basic rework, and hands-on fixture preparation.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze RF measurement data; collaborate with engineering teams to review results.
  • Document test setups, procedures, results, and observed issues clearly and accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of RF principles, including s‑parameters, gain, power, harmonics, and modulation basics.
  • Familiarity with common RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
  • Basic data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel; exposure to Python or similar scripting languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn complex RF test methodologies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a lab environment with engineers and technicians.
