About the role
- Deliver new and innovative solutions for cellular and Wi-Fi front-end modules in the frequency range from 700 MHz to 7 GHz.
- Responsible for architectural and feasibility studies, design, simulation, layout and characterization of various RFIC circuit blocks.
- Design laminate/IPD based package and matching networks using ADS and various EM simulation tools to meet specifications.
- Mentor others in design concepts and best practices, and publish novel design work through various means.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience and/or post-graduate degree is required.
- Experience in designing various RFIC circuit blocks using one or more of the technologies listed.
- Experience in Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, Keysight ADS, and various EM simulation (EMX, Momentum, FEM, HFSS) tools.
- Hands-on experience with RF/microwave test equipment such as network analyzer, probe station, source/load pull system, noise figure measurements, and/or signal sources/analyzers that deal with modulated signals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer needs and schedules.
- Detail oriented to ensure delivery of high yielding designs with good margin to specifications.
