About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients on local and international tax affairs to optimize business impact
- Manage tax compliance and structuring for financial services clients in asset and wealth management
- Analyze and address operational tax risks and implications of investing across jurisdictions
- Draft and review tax documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Facilitate strategic tax planning and profit-sharing consultations for partners
- Monitor and analyze financial trends to inform tax strategies and decisions
- Lead teams preparing and submitting regulatory tax filings
- Promote innovation and change in tax practices and methodologies
- Build and maintain long-term stakeholder relationships
- Develop scalable efficiencies and new ways of working across projects
- Set strategic direction and lead business development efforts
- Oversee multiple projects and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Mentor the next generation of leaders
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar, or another tax-, technology-, or finance-specific credential
- Strategic leadership experience in asset and wealth management
- Advanced tax compliance and planning skills
- Regulatory compliance consulting experience for financial services
- Experience leading multiple projects with a focus on innovation
- Experience cultivating long-term client and stakeholder relationships
- Experience mentoring future leaders in tax services and compliance
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
