About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic direction, commercial leadership and operational oversight for Consumer Markets clients
- Lead and scale the Enterprise Strategy capability within Consumer Markets
- Lead complex multi-workstream engagements and develop senior client relationships
- Direct target operating model design and implementation programmes
- Lead enterprise-wide transformations across commercial, supply chain and technology functions
- Shape AI and agentic transformation initiatives and help clients realise value from intelligent automation
- Oversee programme planning, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, value realisation and benefits tracking
- Lead and quality-assure analysis, reports, SteerCo materials and recommendations for C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Lead business development, pipeline generation, proposals, pitches and commercial constructs
- Build client relationships and account growth strategies
- Shape go-to-market propositions and contribute to thought leadership and market eminence
- Collaborate with Partners, Managing Directors and leaders across Consulting, Deals and other business units
- Coach and develop Senior Managers and wider team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant senior-level experience in operating model design, business transformation, programme delivery or large-scale change within the Consumer Markets sector
- Deep expertise in commercial transformation, supply chain transformation, or technology transformation and implementation
- Strong understanding of how commercial, supply chain and technology disciplines intersect in operating model redesign
- Awareness of and interest in AI, agentic AI and intelligent automation
- Experience in process improvement and re-engineering across commercial and supply chain functions
- Understanding of consumer markets challenges including margin pressure, changing consumer behaviours, channel proliferation, supply chain disruption, sustainability requirements and digital transformation
- Proven ability to lead complex stakeholder environments and build trusted C-suite and board-level relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen, including pipeline generation, proposal leadership, project profitability management and budget oversight
- Proven track record of building, leading and developing high-performing teams
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%
