About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform data entry for onboarding third-party vendors into internal client systems
- Gather documentation, perform data entry, request approvals, and prepare vendors for payment
- Support finance and payment workflows in a high-volume environment
- Review payment/PO systems and vendor master databases to determine vendor status
- Collect and validate tax forms, banking details, and other vendor documentation
- Enter and maintain vendor master data using SAP and related tools
- Coordinate supplier enablement and payment readiness with Procurement P2P and AP/Finance teams
- Perform data validation and duplicate checks; request merges or corrections
- Maintain compliant, audit-ready vendor documentation
- Ensure vendor master data supports Transfer of Value reporting under Sunshine Act/Open Payments and EFPIA requirements
- Analyze operational processes and identify productivity improvements
- Develop and implement operational efficiency and process optimization strategies
- Advise on technology solutions and process automation
- Conduct operational analysis to support strategic decisions and operational improvements
- Collaborate with clients to develop and execute operational strategies
- Apply Lean Process Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Implement operational excellence frameworks
- Gather and analyze data to identify patterns and inform operational strategies
- Confirm vendor setup completion and communicate payment readiness status
- Escalate incomplete or rejected vendor records with documented issues and actions taken
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1–3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- 1–3 years of experience in vendor onboarding, P2P, AP, procurement operations, or master data management
- Proficiency with SAP and vendor master processes
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage high volumes while meeting SLAs
- Experience in vendor onboarding, P2P, procurement operations, master data management, accounts payable, or data entry within large enterprise environments
- Working knowledge of tax documentation, including W-9/W-8 and international equivalents
- Knowledge of banking verification and payment readiness concepts
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Comfort with enterprise systems or ticketing tools
