About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Finance Leaders and key stakeholders to provide financial insight, analysis and commercial guidance supporting business strategy and decision-making
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and management information reporting
  • Deliver forward-looking insights to drive business performance and profitability
  • Analyse financial results and key performance indicators
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities and recommend performance improvements
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards and firm policies
  • Support audit and risk management
  • Contribute to the delivery of accurate financial information
  • Build relationships across business areas, Finance leadership and Centres of Excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working towards or holding a recognised finance qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers and financial performance
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements, including IFRS 15
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted working relationships
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Technology-enabled mindset
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and driving change through innovation and automation
