About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help clients navigate changes affecting their businesses, complexity and tax risk
- Advise wealthy individuals and their businesses in the Alternative Investment Fund space
- Work closely with Private Client Partners, Directors and Senior Managers
- Help develop new client relationships and identify and pursue new market opportunities
- Manage a diverse portfolio including international high net worth individuals, private equity funds and executives
- Develop relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across the firm
- Deliver complex client projects and provide holistic, end-to-end tax services
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in relevant tax law and legislation
- Advise clients and internal stakeholders on tax technical issues
- Deliver sessions at client and knowledge events
- Supervise, coach and provide regular feedback to Senior Associates and Associates
- Keep senior stakeholders updated on progress
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant, detailed and up-to-date UK tax knowledge in the personal tax space
- Experience dealing with complex tax issues facing owners, founders and executives, as well as privately or family-owned businesses preferred
- Experience dealing with international aspects such as residence, domicile and arriving in or leaving the UK
- Experience working with clients in the private equity and broader Alternative Investment Fund industry
- ACA and/or CTA qualified or international equivalent
- Ability to maintain expert knowledge of tax law and legislation
- Ability to advise clients and internal stakeholders on tax technical issues
- Ability to supervise, coach and provide regular feedback to Senior Associates and Associates
- Available to travel up to 40%
- Government clearance not required
- Work visa sponsorship available
