Key responsibilities & impact
  • We're looking for Interns to join our Audit team in Pōneke /Wellington commencing in November 2026.

  • You'll help deliver audits that give stakeholders clarity and confidence, combining technical expertise, open communication and leading technology.

  • You'll gain exposure to a wide range of industries and learn directly from Partners, Directors and Managers while building valuable technical, commercial, digital and interpersonal skills.

  • You'll work with clients and colleagues to understand complex financial information, solve problems and contribute to high-quality audit outcomes.
  • You'll be encouraged to ask questions, think independently, take ownership of your work and step into more responsibility as you grow.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Data Analytics, Management Studies, Mathematics, Science or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An interest in understanding organisations, financial information and how businesses operate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and colleagues.
  • A curious, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Comfort working with technology, data and emerging AI-enabled ways of working.
  • An interest in working towards a professional qualification such as CA ANZ, CPA or CFA.
