About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising practice teams on independence requirements - helping them navigate regulations and structure services effectively.
- Managing key independence processes ensuring seamless operational efficiency
- Coaching junior team members - enhancing their knowledge, problem-solving abilities and soft skills
- Working with and reporting to senior stakeholders across the firm and network
- Supporting audit tenders and major transitions, advising on independence considerations during client rotations.
- Collaborating with engagement teams across the firm, guiding them on non-audit services and technology tool permissibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Team player with ambition, self-management, and adaptability.
- Knowledge of independence or conflict rules is beneficial; training provided.
- Strong communicator at all levels, including delivering difficult messages to senior leaders.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work proactively.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker capable of handling complex concepts with strong project management skills and proficiency in driving projects to completion.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively and able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
