About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You'll lead pre- and post-deal engagements to quickly assess operational value opportunities and risks, combining data analytics with sector-specific experience;
  • Work on operational due diligence, carve-out due diligence, and pre-deal value creation, often starting early in the deal cycle and delivering concrete operational upsides that influence the buyer's offer directly;
  • Identifying operational gaps and providing recommendations to drive value creation;
  • Developing implementation plans and quantifying savings using a driver-based approach and industry benchmarking;
  • Driving transformation initiatives focused on short- and long-term value realization;
  • Coaching and leading junior and senior colleagues;
  • Managing client relationships at both executive and operational level throughout the project.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in (deals) consulting or operational performance improvement, preferably in corporate M&A teams, COO support roles or specialized operations consulting;
  • A university degree in business administration, science, engineering or a related discipline;
  • Understanding of one or more core operational functions (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Sales);
  • Comfortable working with financial information and translating analysis into actionable insights;
  • Good written and spoken English;
  • Dutch language skills are highly appreciated.
