About the role
- Define and drive the SAP FICO roadmap aligned with business strategy
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support financial planning, risk management, and compliance
- Lead SAP FICO transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA migrations
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and support of SAP FI and CO modules
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR)
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and patching activities
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal controls
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for business decisions
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP FICO consultants, analysts, and finance professionals
- Act as the primary liaison between IT, finance, and business units
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders
- Establish and enforce SAP FICO best practices, policies, and documentation standards
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and system performance
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks
Requirements
- 13+ Yrs experience
- Mandatory skill sets: SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, COPA, Internal Orders)
- Preferred skill sets: SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, COPA, Internal Orders)
- Experience with S/4HANA migrations and SAP FICO transformation initiatives
- Experience overseeing configuration, deployment, and support of SAP FI and CO modules
- Experience ensuring integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR)
- Experience managing system upgrades, enhancements, and patching activities
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal controls
- Experience conducting audits to ensure data integrity and system performance
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: SOX, GDPR

- Education: Btech, MBA, MCA, MTECH (Master of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration)
