About the role
- Requirement gathering and analysis
- Work with different databases like Synapse, SQL DB, Snowflake
- Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse
- Create and manage Azure SQL Data Warehouses and Azure Cosmos DB databases
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Azure Data Lake Storage
- Implement data security and governance measures
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve data engineering issues
- Provide optimized solutions for data engineering problems
- Collaborate with team and potentially lead development efforts
Requirements
- 4–7 yrs of experience required
- B.tech/MBA or MCA (Degrees: Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration)
- Mandatory skill sets: Azure Databricks, ADF or Synapse Analytics, Python
- Experience with Synapse, SQL DB, Snowflake
- Strong knowledge on Databricks and Delta tables
- Preferred: Delta Lake, Power BI, Azure DevOps
- Preferred: Knowledge of Spark, Scala, or other distributed processing frameworks
- Exposure to BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Familiarity with data security and compliance in the cloud
- Experience in leading a development team (preferred)
- Ability to work with a variety of sources like Relational DB, API, File System, Realtime streams, CDC
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration (required)
