About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze detailed finance and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities in areas such as Record to report: Close and consolidation; Internal and external reporting, general ledger/chart of accounts design, financial performance management
  • Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions
  • Managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements
  • Identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues
  • Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, which includes system application implementations and software configurations
  • Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Consulting experience with demonstrated experience in Finance
  • Good understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts design/management, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas: finance transformation, performance management, financial systems optimization, managerial cost accounting, financial modelling and industry systems/processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
  • When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset
