Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise some of Australia’s most influential privately owned businesses, investors and family groups on complex and high-impact tax matters.
  • Partner with clients across their full lifecycle, from growth and expansion through to transactions, succession and generational change.
  • Shape tax outcomes for significant deals, restructures and investments, bringing clear thinking to complex commercial decisions.
  • Deliver a sophisticated mix of advisory and compliance work, focused on strategy, insight and long-term value rather than volume.
  • Design and implement structures that support business growth, investment strategies, and wealth preservation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive and high-stakes matters, building deep, enduring client relationships.
  • Collaborate with leading specialists across the firm to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions.
  • Stay ahead of legislative change and market trends, translating complexity into practical, confident advice clients can act on.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong tax technical expertise across private wealth, privately owned corporate businesses and family office structures.
  • Proven experience managing high value client portfolios and building trusted relationships.
  • A strong track record of leading, mentoring and developing teams to build a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with regulatory bodies like the ATO.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of tax laws and industry trends, and the ability to translate these into practical, innovative strategies for privately owned domestic and foreign owned corporate groups with turnovers exceeding $1bn.
  • Continuously develop your expertise and credentials, contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence.
