About the role
- Lead development and delivery of software and product innovation initiatives, aligning engineering execution with client and firm strategy
- Own engagement relationships, managing expectations and translating business objectives into product roadmaps and delivery plans
- Direct cross-functional teams in designing and building scalable solutions using modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#.NET) and application frameworks
- Oversee enterprise application integration, APIs, and microservices architecture to enable interoperability and business agility
- Institutionalize quality practices, including ATDD, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards
- Drive CI/CD adoption to improve release velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Lead rigorous business requirements analysis to confirm alignment with industry standards and engagement goals
- Establish and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, estimates, commitments, and risk mitigation
- Mentor and develop junior talent, elevating team capability in product strategy, engineering discipline, and project management
- Champion innovative technologies and continuous improvement to enhance product performance, user experience, and business impact.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering Product Management for each missing year of college is required
- At least 12 years of experience
- Advanced proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, along with completing PMP, CSM, and/or PRINCE2 certifications
- Experience applying ATDD and CI/CD practices to improve software quality, release speed, and delivery predictability
- Experience enabling seamless integration and scalable solutions with API management and microservices architecture
- Demonstrated capability in business process improvement and management, aligning product execution to organizational goals
- Financial acumen, including effective budget oversight and resource management across multiple initiatives
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into informed product and program decisions
- Proven ability to manage engagement relationships with a focus on service excellence and stakeholder alignment
- Leadership capability to inspire and guide teams toward program objectives, resolve conflicts, and sustain performance in dynamic environments.
