About the role
- Lead and execute IT audit engagements focusing on IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, and emerging technologies.
- Assess clients’ IT environments to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that enable clients to strengthen their IT risk frameworks and improve operational resilience.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by advising on best practices, automation opportunities, and emerging risks in IT and cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT audit, cybersecurity assurance, or related IT risk roles, ideally in a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 1/SOC 2, or equivalent.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of articulating complex IT risks and controls to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
