About the role
- Perform complex, end-to-end operational accounting activities within a dynamic financial project environment

- Lead and review complex accounting transactions in one or more functional areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Ensure and take ownership of accurate and timely monthend, quarterend and yearend closing for the assigned area
- Review and sign off reconciliations of critical balance sheet and P&L accounts; proactively identify root causes of discrepancies and drive sustainable remediation
- Participate and ensure quality in transitions/migrations of accounting activities (knowledge transfer, process mapping, documentation, testing and golive support)
- Act as a key finance counterpart for internal project stakeholders, providing expert advice and resolving complex accounting issues
- Identify and drive process improvements, standardization and automation initiatives; identify efficiency opportunities, build business cases and support implementation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS / US GAAP / local GAAP) and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX)
- Mentor, coach and support training and onboarding of team members, sharing best practices and fostering a highquality, continuous improvement mindset within the team
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in complex accounting processes (GL, AR, or AP) with knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Hands-on experience with leading ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a global environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work directly with clients
