About the role
- Posting documents and maintaining records for tax, customs, and accounting purposes
- Posting transactions related to fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, payroll, and bank statements
- Confirming balances of receivables and payables
- Participating in month-end/year-end closing processes
- Assisting in fulfilling tax obligations under CIT and VAT regulations
- Preparing accounting reports and statements
- Ongoing communication and support for the client
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of German
- Knowledge of English will be an additional asset
- Familiarity with SAP, Datev, or any financial-accounting software will be an advantage
- Relevant education (finance and accounting, taxation, economics) or experience in a similar position
- Practical knowledge of MS Office
- Good time management and ability to work independently
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities
