About the role

  • Design and implement complex Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements, performance targets, and security standards
  • Create and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and documentation for Azure infrastructure
  • Manage Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI/SDK
  • Implement and manage Azure networking components (e.g., Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways)
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and high-availability/disaster recovery-enabled application environments
  • Apply security best practices across the Azure environment (IAM, Azure Policy, Key Vault)
  • Monitor performance and availability using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or cloud engineering, including at least 5 years with Microsoft Azure
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and microservices/API development in Python
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • One or more relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert)
  • Nice to have: Experience with workflow tools (e.g., Temporal, Argo)
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, SOC 2)
