About the role
- Create digital and technology vision for clients
- Conduct benchmarking analysis for Utilities
- Identify gaps in current technology state and recommend future strategies
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand requirements
- Develop clients’ digital transformation strategy and roadmap
- Conduct business process studies and identify improvement opportunities
- Work on architecture due diligence and cloud implementation
- Provide technology solutions for critical applications
- Analyze costs for various initiatives and prepare roadmaps
- Manage client relationships for digital transformation projects
- Conduct technology due diligence to enhance client technology use
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Business / Engineering and equivalent
- Master’s degree in IT / Business / Engineering and equivalent (Preferred)
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in the IT and digital transformation domain
- Experience in Utilities Technology for over 4 years
- Understanding of Utilities ecosystem of different user personas and journeys
- Knowledge of Key Utilities technology solutions such as Billing Systems, GIS, Asset Management System (EAM), ERP, Field Workforce Management, CRM, IT/OT Integration
- Familiar with Smart Metering and Smart Grids
- Understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, RPA, IoT
- Good understanding of architecture and patterns for Utilities technology solutions
- Strong data analysis and data storytelling skills
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Oracle, IBM and SAP platforms
- TOGAF certification is an added advantage
- Proactive mindset in a customer-driven environment
