Responsible for supporting the multi-site, high availability Gas SCADA system.
Assist in support and troubleshooting the operational SCADA environment as well as insuring optimized monitoring and reporting for solid system reliability.
Engage with the customer, guiding and leading them through solutions, and ultimately delivering successful projects.
Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of a mission critical, high availability IT monitoring and control system (SCADA).
Enhance and maintain all primary and peripheral systems that make up the Gas SCADA environment.
Design, develop, deploy and support applications to meet the needs of primary and secondary internal customers.
Collaborate with applicable parties to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot remote devices and systems of varying types and complexity using all available resources in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years IT experience, including several years of systems development experience in the design and development of department-wide or enterprise-wide applications.
5+ years hands-on systems experience in one or more specialized technical requirements modules appropriate for the job.
Possesses full technical knowledge of phases of software development life cycle.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools.
Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies.
Ability to facilitate interactive design and functional specification sessions.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills.
Strong analytical problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Demonstrated project management skills for smaller projects.
