About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations, staff performance, and business development activities of the branch while driving growth in commercial banking and treasury management services.
  • Build strong client relationships, generating new business, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial solutions that support commercial clients’ cash-flow, liquidity, and operational needs.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, operational standards, and bank policies.
  • Supervise Branch Operations Staff at the assigned branch location, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional service.
  • Oversee branch operations, risk management, and compliance with all banking regulations.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing, cash management, and audit integrity.
  • Manage branch budget, staffing, and scheduling to meet operational and financial objectives.
  • Identify treasury management needs for business clients and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of banking experience, including 2+ years in branch leadership or similar management role.
  • Demonstrated success in commercial business development and treasury management solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, credit fundamentals, and commercial deposit services.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify opportunities, and execute growth strategies.
