About the role
- Definition of safety plans for functional safety
- Conducting FHA, FTA and FMEA
- Definition of safety requirements at various system levels
- Development of system architecture and implementation of design changes
- Management of a hazard tracking system
- Definition and assessment of safety-related verification methods
- Incorporation of functional safety considerations into test specifications and procedures
- Compilation of safety evidence into Safety Case Reports
Requirements
- Completed technical degree (e.g., electrical engineering, physics, computer science, aerospace) or equivalent
- Professional experience in functional safety (FHA, SSA, SSPP, FMEA) in the aerospace, nuclear, rail or automotive industry is required
- Good knowledge of common standards (e.g., IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882E)
- Experience in requirements engineering — ideally with DOORS
- Analytical skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary and multinational teams
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Very good German and good English language skills
