About the role

  • Assume responsibility for Windows Server environments (installation, operation, further development)
  • Administration of DNS, DHCP, DFS, Hyper-V, WSUS
  • Active Directory management such as role and permission models, Group Policies, etc.
  • Implementation of security concepts in the Windows environment (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz, CERT-Bw, etc.)
  • Automation of routines using scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • On-site rollouts at customer locations (installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance)
  • System documentation

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree (e.g., computer science) or equivalent; alternatively vocational training/technician qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Professional experience required, particularly in the administration of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
  • Experience with Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange Server, Hyper-V, WSUS, antivirus software (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Symantec Endpoint Protection)
  • Experience in the design, implementation, integration, testing and acceptance of complex systems
  • High willingness to travel, resilience and flexibility, strong teamworking skills, customer orientation
  • Very good German and good English language skills
