About the role

  • Take responsibility for Windows Server environments (installation, operation, further development)
  • Administration of DNS, DHCP, DFS, Hyper-V, WSUS
  • Active Directory management including role and permission models, Group Policies, etc.
  • Implementation of security concepts in the Windows environment (e.g. BSI IT Baseline Protection (BSI-Grundschutz), CERT-Bw)
  • Automation of routine tasks using scripts (e.g. PowerShell, Bash)
  • On-site rollouts at customer locations (installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance)
  • System documentation

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or equivalent; alternatively vocational training/technician with many years of professional experience
  • Professional experience is required, particularly in administration of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
  • Experience with Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange Server, Hyper-V, WSUS, and antivirus software (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Symantec Endpoint Protection)
  • Experience in design, implementation, integration, testing and acceptance of complex systems
  • High willingness to travel, resilience and flexibility, team player with a customer-oriented mindset
  • Excellent German and good English language skills
