Talent Acquisition Specialist
Protect EnvironmentalTalent Acquisition Specialist leading recruiting efforts across Protect Environmental's HR team. Managing full-cycle talent acquisition to enhance the employee experience.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Maintain candidate activity and communication within the applicant tracking system.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including passive recruiting efforts.
- Post and maintain job openings across ATS and external platforms.
- Coordinate onboarding activities such as checklists, IT equipment requests, uniform orders, and day-one schedules.
- Support offboarding processes, including exit checklists, collection of company property, and timely system updates.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in the HRIS and personnel files.
- Partner with marketing to support social media recruitment and employer branding initiatives.
- Assist with diversity recruiting initiatives and affirmative action goals.
- Participate in job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and various interview techniques.
- Experience recruiting with multi-state employer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with employment laws and best practices in hiring and recordkeeping.
- Experience with ATS and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
