Key responsibilities & impact

Review and analyze changes in public voter registration data and absentee ballot data
Provide election officials with timely insights and answers to data questions
Write and present accessible data reports
Conduct legal/policy research for context in reports
Partner with colleagues across Protect Democracy for data analyses and custom tools
Expand and enrich current data with external datasets
Create and refine standards for reporting and best practices
Build and maintain relationships with partners in the election community

Requirements

What you’ll need

Interest in public or civic data and commitment to data-driven and non-partisan analysis
Ability to communicate a clear story with data in writing and presenting
Proficiency in Python
A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Growth mindset with comfort in a feedback-oriented culture
