About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards.
- You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers.
- Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology.
- The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this roll.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
- Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
- Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
