About the role

  • Support SAP data warehousing and analytics initiatives
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data warehousing solutions
  • Create and optimize SAP BW queries and reporting solutions using Analysis for Office
  • Develop and maintain extractors from both ECC and S/4HANA systems
  • Model and implement end-to-end data flows in SAP BW/4HANA, including ADSOs, MultiProviders, Calculation Views, and CDS Views
  • Build and enhance master data models, including time-dependent master data and hierarchy management
  • Develop ABAP-based variables, query logic, and authorization concepts
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, particularly in the areas of Controlling and Finance
  • Support reporting and analytics use cases with a focus on COPA (Profitability Analysis)

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP BW Query creation and use of Analysis for Office
  • At least 2 years of dedicated experience with SAP BW/4HANA and HANA Studio for BW
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining extractors from both ECC and S/4HANA systems
  • Extensive experience in data flow modelling within the SAP BW/4HANA framework
  • Strong proficiency in OO ABAP programming, especially in developing ABAP methods for reading and managing hierarchies
  • Experience in developing query variables and authorization variables using ABAP
  • Experience in developing extractors using CDS Views
  • Expertise in building complex queries with dynamic variables to support business reporting requirements
  • Strong knowledge of master data modelling in SAP BW/4HANA, including time-dependent master data and hierarchies
  • Comprehensive understanding of authorizations in SAP BW/4HANA
