About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Public Affairs Associate supports external affairs, media relations, and public communications.
  • Monitor media coverage, prepare press materials, and assist in stakeholder engagement.
  • Translate complex policy issues into accessible content and support the organization’s narrative and reputation management.
  • Track and summarize media coverage, compile press clips and coverage trends.
  • Draft press materials, talking points, and external communications in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Assist in preparing briefings, presentations, and reports for media inquiries and external engagements.
  • Coordinate with the Communications team to ensure policy-related messaging aligns with organizational priorities.
  • Support the development and execution of public-facing campaigns, announcements, and events.

What you’ll need

  • Expected Travel: ~ 25% for company events, including the annual Prosperity Summit, and quarterly in-person meetings in Washington, D.C.
