About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Articulate client value and frame the problem worth solving and the outcome the client is buying
Clearly communicate problems, hypotheses, and success measures
Ensure delivery teams work solely on funded backlog items and constrain product delivery as necessary
Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to meet functional and commercial objectives
Lead discovery and manage scope, including using AI to rapidly prototype and test ideas
Define hypotheses and measurable success criteria
Keep product delivery teams informed of upcoming work
Communicate relevant context and problems to build shared understanding of product direction
Work with clients to find value, frame problems, and define success measures
Maintain long-term customer relationships through continuous and meaningful delivery
Represent Propellerhead in front of stakeholders in a highly visible, client-facing role

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced, AI-native Product Strategist or similar in a software development environment
Very comfortable using AI to rapidly prototype, test hypotheses, and accelerate discovery
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with stakeholders to define problems and measurable outcomes
Familiarity with product management tools and software
Must be Auckland based or planning to relocate to Auckland, New Zealand
Willingness to learn and adapt to Propellerhead's way of working
Professional, confident presence and ability to communicate and influence with clarity
